Software does start (for me) because I have it on task scheduler to start with windows. I "fixed" it by removing (core 0) fan curve and adding it for core 1,I have no clue what would cause this but it seems like I fixed the issue. I put target temps on 75-80,my CPU almost never goes above 65° anyway but while I was playing CoD last night and as soon as my temps were getting around 55-60° (can't remember exactly) my fans started spinning to 100% so I had to put it back to manual.ĭidn't make sense but it was w/e. The process starts, the icon in task bar doesn't. Have you configured Speedfan correctly? Like selected correct control methods in settings? And made target temp (which means the temp fans go to 100%) high enough? Have the checkbox selected for advanced fan controls selected in main screen? Like I said, Speedfan does apply curves on startup while the software itself doesn't start.
